A lifelong resident of Southeast Wisconsin, Eric Hart began working at Hart Law Office as a law clerk while attending Marquette University Law School. Eric’s primary practice areas include:

 Awards/Accomplishments

Eric is the Co-Chair of the Milwaukee Bar Association Family Bench Bar Committee.  He is also the treasurer of the Leander J. Foley Society of Family Lawyers.  That organization emphasizes legal education and collegiality amongst attorneys. Eric has organized and/or taught numerous Continuing Legal Education seminars in both family law and criminal defense.  He was selected to take part in the Milwaukee County Guardian ad Litem Improvement project, which organized training to improve the work of attorneys who represent the best interest of children.  He regularly volunteers at the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic run by the Milwaukee Justice Center, which provides limited advice in areas such as family law, estate/probate law, real estate, guardianships, and small business law.  Eric has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers the last four years.

Education information and admissions

Prior to becoming an attorney, Eric received his B.S. from Marquette University, where he double majored in finance and marketing and minored in political science. He earned his J.D. in 2011 from Marquette University Law School.

Eric is admitted to practice law in Wisconsin, the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the Western District of Wisconsin.

Eric presently resides in Wauwatosa with his family. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, playing golf and cheering on the Packers, the Brewers, the Bucks, and Marquette basketball.
